For more than half of the year, the temperature in the taiga is freezing. Winter occurs when the Northern hemisphere of Earth is tilted away from the sun. During wintertime, the forest may only get a few key hours of sunlight. But when summertime finally comes around, the forest can get up to 20 hours of sunlight. Summer rain gives the forest an average of 10-20 inches of rain per year, and in winter snow is always on the ground. There is a low evaporation rate, so the climate in the forest is very humid. There are about 300 to 900ml of precipitation every year. The average climate for the coniferous forest each year falls below -32°F. This biome can also be as low as -76°F. In the summer, the temperature can reach as high as 104°F. Fall is the shortest season and spring brings flowers and animals that wake up from hibernation.
For half of the year, the average temperature is below freezing, but temperature in the winter is warmer than it is for tundra.
Here are some pictures that show how the coniferous forest looks like every season.

Winter
This is how the coniferous forest looks like in the winter. Notice how the snow is covering the ground and tall trees. It would be freezing to live in a climate like this!
Summer
The temperature in the summer is amazingly high. Imagine how it would feel if you lived in a climate with 104°F (You would probably not survive!)!
Fall
Fall, the shortest season, does not really have a description. It is hotter than the winter, but colder than the summer.
Spring
In my opinion, spring is the most beautiful season in this biome. The pretty white followers make the trees look strong and warm. Animals will just have the right condition to live in this forest!
This is a graph showing the annual temperature and precipitation of the forest.
The Annual Temperature
This is graph show the annual temperature in a coniferous forest.
This graph shows us that the most hottest month is July (about 15 degrees) and the coldest month is January (about -11 degrees)
The Rainfall (Precipitation )
This shows the annual rainfall in a coniferous forest.
This graph explains to us that July has the most rain with about 62 millimeters and April has the lowest amount with 20 millimeters.
